After successful stints at Wells Fargo and Bank of Montreal, Joe joined Truist and helped that bank become one of the leaders in the spirits sector. Among other accomplishments, Joe created the bank's Barrel Financing Program, which became one of the largest barrel lending platforms in the industry. In total, Joe produced more than $2B in loan originations generating more than $50MM in revenue. Along the way, he has assisted companies with mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, project financings, equity raises and more, and he brings a wealth of knowledge and relationships to BSTC.

  • Founding Partner

Alongside Joe are BSTC founders Dan and Clint, who spent the bulk of their careers building scaleable software companies. Dan's company Medalogix used data science to significantly transform the world of home health and hospice, and Clint's company Emma helped companies use data and design to deliver more effective email campaigns. Each helped build his respective company from scratch, led it through years of significant growth, and delivered a successful exit for all involved.
